Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre - Visit 4
On Friday 21st June, the Pupil Chaplains made their final visit to Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre. In preparation for their final visit, they made 'thank-you' cards and took their favourite games and musical instruments to share with the elderly. It was a very enjoyable day for all involved as they sat in the sunshine and listened to some beautiful music, sharing laughs and smiles.
Pupil Chaplain Day - 14th June 2019
On Friday 14th June, the Pupil Chaplains, accompanied by Mrs Reilly, went to St Anselm's Parish Centre for a very special day. There, they had the opportunity to meet and work with other Pupil Chaplains from the other Catholic primary schools in Harrow. The morning was led by Holly, the pastoral assistant at Our Lady and St Thomas' and the children all had the opportunity to discuss what being a Pupil Chaplain meant to them and what makes a Saint. They also learnt about some different Saints and worked together to complete different learning tasks related to the theme 'Called to be Saints.' The morning ended with a prayer service, led by St Anselm's pupil chaplains. What a very special morning!
Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre Visit 3 - St Patrick's Day
On Friday 15th March, the Chaplaincy team at St. George's visited the Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre again. On this occasion, the Year 6 pupils took their Reception buddies to meet the elderly. The Year 6 pupils performed traditional Irish music and dancing while the elderly looked on in delight. Afterwards,the children spent time sharing stories and laughs. Overall,it was an extremely enjoyable day for all involved!
Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre Visit 2
On Friday 7th December, the School Chaplaincy Team visited the local Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre again. The pupils sang Christmas carols and played their musical instruments. After, we all enjoyed a little party! Another wonderful and very enjoyable experience for all involved.
