Black History Month Competition

Dear Parents/Guardians,

In honour of Black History Month, we invite children to celebrate Black History and multicultural Britain. Our theme for this year is writers and so we encourage children to explore and research black writers such as poets, authors, song writers etc.

Children in Reception and KS1 are invited to draw, paint, create or make a model of a black writer, while children in KS2 are invited to research the life of one or several black writers and present it in an informative and creative way. Attached you will find the posters relating to our competitions.

The deadline is Tuesday 19th October 2021. I look forward to seeing your children’s entries.
