Black History Month Competition

Dear Parents/Guardians,

In honour of Black History Month, we invite children to celebrate Black British History and multicultural Britain.

Children can explore achievements and legacy of Great Black Britons in different areas such as politics, science, entertainment or sports.

Children in KS1 are invited to draw, paint, create or make a model of a Great Black Briton, while children in KS2 are invited to research the life of one or several Great Black Britons and present it in an informative and creative way.

Attached you will find some suggestions of famous Black Britons.

The deadline is Friday 16th October 2020.
