Final Week Arrangements

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Year Six School Production Schedule

We cannot believe that after all these days of rehearsals, we have now reached the final week.  The Production Team would like to thank you for all your support during this time, especially with the purchase of the requested costumes.

Although a lot of hard work, it has been a very happy experience and there has been a lot of mutual encouragement and appreciation during rehearsals, as well as a lot of laughter.

The children have been brilliant, so we are confident that "Porridge" will be a very enjoyable show and one you will always remember.

A timetable for next week has been set out below, so that you can plan ahead and hopefully there will be very little inconvenience or disruption to your normal routine.

Monday, Tuesday – rehearsals in school.

Wednesday & Thursday – Children are to come to school in their PE kits. After registration, the children will be walking up to the Parish Centre.

They will need a healthy packed lunch and bottles of water (clearly labelled). (Please no sweets, crisps or glass bottles). The children will walk back to school for normal end of day at 3:25pm.

Friday – Children are to come to school in their PE kits. After registration, the children will be walking up to the Parish Centre.  They will need a healthy packed lunch and bottles of water (clearly labelled). (Please no sweets, crisps or glass bottles).

Please be aware that as they will be doing a dress rehearsal for the school in the afternoon, they may be a little late when returning to school and we will aim to be back to school as close to 3:25pm as possible.

Friday evening - the children will need to be at the theatre from 6pm – 6:30pm at the latest.  Please do not drop them off before 6pm, as there will not be anyone to supervise them.

For security reasons, only the children are allowed in the rooms allocated for changing and make-up. The children are not permitted phones, cameras or sweets in the changing rooms. They may wish to bring a bottle of water and a healthy snack.

The show will start promptly at 7.30pm and the bar will be open as you arrive and during the interval.

Please be aware that there is no photography or filming allowed.

We look forward to seeing you on the night and we hope you will have a lovely evening.

Kind Regards,

The Year 6 Production Team
