Salary:                               Grade 5: Scale Point 17 - 20: Actual Salary 66.52% £19,713 - £21,024 per annum

Part time:                            28 hours per week over 4 days (to include Monday & Friday) – term time only plus 1 week

Responsible to:                 Headteacher / Governors

Responsible for:               Effective school administration/ admissions/ attendance officer/single central record

St George’s Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy is a two-form entry school graded as ‘outstanding’ in our last Ofsted. Part of the Blessed Holy Family Catholic Academy Trust the school is maintained by the Dioceses of Westminster and serves the parish of St Georges', Sudbury.

The Headteacher and Governors would like to invite applications from highly motivated and organised practitioners to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join this successful Catholic Primary School. 

You will support the Headteacher and Governors in maintaining the high standards to ensure that the school meets its educational aims. You will also be responsible for admissions and will be the school attendance officer.

Candidates will be able to:

  • Ensure statutory returns are prepared for submission by required deadlines to DfE / Local Authority
  • Oversee and organise the management of admissions procedures (SIMS, Excel) 
  • Be responsible for the SCR – ensuring school complies with KCSIE.
  • Manage communication with parents and staff and support Head Teacher with communications
  • Competent in IT packages and experience of schools MIS system currently SIMS / CPOMS Staff Safe
