World Book Day 2023
This week celebrations for World Book Day 2023 included:
- Dressing up as our favourite book characters...everyone looked great!
- 'Bringing Books to Life' dance workshops for Reception to Year 5. KS1 children retold the story of 'Where the Wild Things Are' and KS2 learned dramatic dance moves to retell 'Alice in Wonderland'. The children really enjoyed the workshops and performed their dances to their teachers at the end, who were very impressed!
- "Teacher Trade" - Teachers swapped classes for half an hour and visited a different class in the whole to read them one of their favourite children's stories. The children loved the surprise of a new face in their classroom and hearing a new story being read to them.
