2022-2023

St. George's Girls Tier 2 Harrow Finals

On Monday 15th of May 2023 our girls football team took part in the Tier 2 Harrow Football finals at Roger Bannister Playing Fields. The Small squad of 9 girls across years 5 and 6 play with real passion and determination over the 3 games. With that impressive display and some great goals being scored it lead to the girls winning the finals day to be crowned champions!

We are really proud of the girls and how they represented the school in such a professional manner.

Boys Barnet Cup Finals day

On Wednesday the 15th of March 2023 our boys team went to take part in the Barnet Cup finals 7v7 competition. It was a great afternoon with some good performances put in with 2 wins out of our 4 games. Sadly due to the results in the last 2 games we left the competition earlier than expected. This is something that the boys will learn from with the league cup finals day coming up at the end of the month.

St. George's boys win the Charles Alcock Cup

On Tuesday the 6th of December 2022, a small squad of 7 boys (consisting of boys from year 4,5 and 6) went to compete at Harrow Boys school in the first ever Charles Alcock Cup 5-aside competition. It was a freezing afternoon being played at some outstanding facilities against schools from across Harrow and inner London. The boys looked outstanding in the group stage going through undefeated into the semi finals without letting a goal in.  This lead them into the Semi finals where they took on Byron Court with the boys beating their opponents 3-0.

This lead the boys into a final against St Anselms who we had already beaten 3-0 in the group stage. After going 1-0 down in the early stages the boys lead a inspirational come back to score 2 goals and then defended that lead till the final whistle. It is a great victory and hopefully leads the boys into greater successes during the school year! Top performances from all the boys and top scorer Aaron!
